用贝类和珍珠等装饰的水神宫阙。语本《楚辞・屈原・九歌・河伯》：“鱼麟屋兮龙堂，紫贝阙兮朱宫。”《王逸・注》：“文苑作珠宫。”后形容宫殿的富丽堂皇、光彩夺目。《孤本元明杂剧・庆长生・第四折》：“你看那香焚宝鼎，紫雾漾漾，玉楼金殿，贝阙珠宫，便如天宫之景也。”亦作“珠宫贝阙”。
